I just borrowed Roger Fisher’s classic book on negotiation, Getting to Yes, largely because I thought as a law student it is imperative to have some degree of skill in negotiation. Even though I might not venture into law after I have graduated, negotiation skills are applicable to most aspects of life, be it in business or even in interactions with family members.

I surfed around of some good websites and books on negotiation and succeeding in law school and unearthed some gems…

The Harvard Negotiation Project –

The Complete Law School Companion – Jeff Deaver

Getting to Maybe: How to Excel on Law School Exams – Richard Michael Fischl and Jeremy Paul

Law School Confidential – Robert H. Miller

Acing your First Year of Law School – Shanna Connell Noyes and Henry S. Noyes
