Victory Headwaters Pale Ale

Fantastic water; one can taste the difference that the water makes. It is just so much more deeper, complex, cleaner, clearer and drinkable, when compared to an average pale ale. Unpretentious and solid with no deliberate added deviations in terms of taste, which is probably what Victory wanted since they are seeking to showcase the importance and uniqueness of the water that they use. The water is the solid platform and medium through which the other basic components of the beer (hops, malt) perform and shine. Currently the best pale ales I have had (I think it is better than the Little Creatures Pale Ale).

Barely any head, orangey hazy. Wafts of perfumy grapefruit and lychee hits the nose easily. Lively taste that jumps in the mouth, bread, sweet balanced with grapefruit, casacade hops. An american PA that is just so much more exuberant and lively than other regular PAs I have tasted.
