Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Pours dark amber, with a modest head. Airy and delicious, mildly sweet and very well-balanced. Pine, grapefruit. Faint, lingering, aromatic bitterness at the end that lasts very long in the nose. Subsequent quaffs are sweeter and broader, very tasty and refreshing, without great bite. Probably the most drinkable and pleasant pale ale I ever had; a very safe choice that is of a high standard. Very coherent and well put together; if one element is changed even by a bit, I don’t think this beer will taste the way it does now.
