The Macallan Fine Oak 18 Years

Pour: Copper honey with a slight reddish tint.
Nose: Vanilla, honey, floral, citrus.
Palate: Light and soft. Warming with a hint of smoke. Finish is dry and light, slightly salty and zesty.

Somewhat lacking. The nose is pretty decent, but the taste is underwhelming and lacking in depth. I might want to stick solely to Macallan’s sherry oaked whiskeys.
