Yamazaki 12 Years

Pour: Slightly dark gold, very attractive
Nose: Very sweet, honey
Palate: Very sweet, honey, fruit, not totally dry. Coconut.
Finish: Sweet.

A very pleasant and welcoming whiskey, although not outstanding. Predominant taste is sweetness with almost no smoke. Yamazaki 25 years is still the best.

Lemon, sweet but thin nose. Smoke kicks in after I added some water. I find it better this time. It is definitely a predominantly sweet whiskey.
