Pour: Ridiculously huge 4-finger off-white head in my goblet with bubbles that expand and grow bigger before breaking down into foam. Body is a hazy dark tangerine. Looks ferocious and feisty!

Nose: Very pronounced smells of tropical fruits, lychee, grapefruit, peach, nectarine, mango, which leaps at my nose. Very sweet-smelling, fresh and promising. Almost organic.

Palate: Light on the tongue. Very smooth for its type. Very fruity and aromatic, lychee, grapefruit, orange marmalade. Hops may be tasted but it is not strong and overwhelming. Sense of pepper at the end.

This is a very interesting and enjoyable IPA. The focus is on the aroma and nose, and a very pronounced taste of tropical fruits. The typical substantial bitter hoppiness of an IPA is not found here. Instead, it is an aggressively fruity and aromatic beer, yet with a surprisingly smooth and light taste. It is perfumy, almost like a Gerwurztraminer. Really good beer. One of the best IPAs I had so far. Better than the Little Creatures ales. Just wished that the hops were a bit more pronounced to balance the sweet nose and tastes.
